Monday - Friday: 9.00AM - 5.00PM

Annual Salary : £55,000 - £60,000 PER ANNUM + COMPANY BONUS (DOE)

Day to Day Duties

As a HSE Manager your duties will involve:

  • Providing Health & Safety advice and guidance specific to the business needs, and continuously advising on safe systems of work
  • Ensuring that the company is proactive, up-to-date and compliant in regard to HSE legislation
  • Reviewing and updating all safety systems and processes on site
  • Managing the company’s inherent HSE risks, while identifying other areas of risk and developing measures to reduce and control
  • Managing HSE legal obligations, including RIDDOR, claims, permit reviews and visits, or information requests from Local authorities and Health & Safety Executive, etc

Essential Skills

As a HSE Manager is it essential that you:

  • Must have previous experience in a similar HSE role
  • IOSH- or NEBOSH-qualified
  • Experience and knowledge of ISO standards
  • Level 5 or working towards in Managing Health & Safety or the equivalent
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in the management of a wide range of HSE risks
  • Experience with HSE within a manufacturing environment

Desirable Experience

  • Available to start as soon as possible
