Are you an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant with a passion for supporting individuals with complex needs? Do you have at least 2 years of experience in a residential care setting and hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care? If so, I want to hear from you!

This client pride themselves on providing high-quality, person-centered care in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Role & Responsibilities:As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to their residents. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and support in line with individual care plans.
  • Assisting with medication management (must be medication trained).
  • Supporting residents with daily activities, emotional well-being, and promoting independence.
  • Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
  • Contributing to a safe, welcoming, and homely environment for residents.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Healthcare Assistant within a residential care setting.
  • Qualification: NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Skills: Must be medication trained.
  • Passion: A genuine commitment to supporting individuals with alcohol misuse and mental health conditions.
  • Compassion: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with residents.
