The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead and support our growing team of specialist nurses, delivering services across both primary and secondary care. The role involves managing a team of 10-12 nurse advisors who are responsible for delivering clinical services such as asthma, COPD, spirometry and diabetes clinics.

As a Nurse Manager, you will ensure that operational guidelines, performance management, and best practices are adhered to across all services. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement and support the professional development of our nursing teams. The position requires travel for face-to-face visits with nurses and, on occasion, overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 10-12 nurse advisors in delivering high-quality clinical services
  • Oversee operational guidelines, service improvements, and the implementation of best practices
  • Conduct performance management and professional development activities for team members
  • Provide support in the delivery of clinical standards across services
  • Conduct field visits with nursing teams and maintain flexibility for travel, including

Requirements:

  • NMC registration (required)
  • Diploma in Asthma, COPD, ARTP or Diabetes or equivalent (desirable)
  • ENB 998 teaching and assessing course/equivalent (desirable)
  • Proven track record of achieving KPIs in a clinical or nursing management role
  • Ability to motivate and inspire nursing teams, driving excellence in patient care
