Salary: 45-55,000 DOE

A respected and long-established architectural practice is seeking a talented Architect with strong healthcare sector experience to join its Manchester studio. With a legacy spanning over 25 years and a team of around 80 professionals, this award-winning practice is known for delivering large-scale, high-quality projects across healthcare, education, residential, and commercial sectors.

Daily Duties:

  • Lead large-scale healthcare projects through all RIBA stages
  • Oversee and manage internal teams and external consultants
  • Coordinate client presentations, design development, and technical delivery
  • Produce and review detailed technical drawings and specifications in Revit (essential)
  • Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and uphold design quality
  • Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and healthcare-specific standards
  • Take full responsibility for project delivery, budget oversight, and team leadership

Ideal Candidate:

  • Fully qualified Architect (ARB registered) with significant post-qualification experience
  • Substantial experience leading large-scale healthcare projects
  • Strong Revit skills and confident working in a BIM environment
  • Demonstrable experience running jobs independently from concept through delivery
  • Deep understanding of UK building regulations and healthcare design guidelines (e.g. HBNs/HTMs)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
