Key Responsibilities:
* Register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to become the Registered Manager of the service.
* Liaise with the CQC, local authorities, and the Fire Authority as needed to maintain satisfactory standards within the home. Ensure all required notifications (e.g., DOLs, safeguarding, RIDDOR, CQC notifications) are submitted promptly.
* Ensure the home operates at maximum occupancy levels.
* Oversee the implementation of policies, procedures, and practices to guarantee the highest standards of care for all residents.
* Take full responsibility for the management of the home's medication system.
* Conduct regular audits and ensure timely follow-up actions to maintain regulatory compliance and provide quality care.
