Meridian Business Support are working on behalf of a state of the art Further Education College based in Greater Manchester. They are seeking a qualified and experienced Teacher of Chemistry to deliver stimulating and exciting lessons to their students.

Role:
Teacher of Chemistry
Location: Greater Manchester
Pay rate: £28.00 - £40 per hour
Start date: 2nd December 2024
Duration: 3 months

Role responsibilities:

  • Full-time A-level Chemistry teacher to cover a teacher absence.
  • To deliver both AS and A-level Chemistry (AQA) and some BTEC Applied Science units.
  • The candidate will also be expected to deliver support sessions
  • To mark assessments

Ideal Candidates:
  • PGCE or other equivalent teaching qualificate in Chemistry or Science
  • Experience teaching AS and A-level Chemistry (AQA) and BTEC Applied Science
  • Able to mark assessments
  • A DBS on the update service
  • Can start work on 2nd December 2024

Hours of work
  • 37hours per week, Monday to Friday
