Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Manchester

Pay Rate: £95 per day

A dynamic secondary school in Manchester is looking for a motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in various subjects. This role is ideal for graduates considering a career in education, offering valuable classroom experience while helping students in Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) reach their academic potential.

Responsibilities:

Support classroom teachers by assisting with lesson delivery, working with small groups or individual students
Help with planning and preparing learning materials, adapting resources to meet student needs, particularly those with SEND
Provide 1:1 support to students with additional learning needs, ensuring they engage with lesson content
Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and helping students stay focused and motivated
Foster a positive learning environment by promoting good behavior and encouraging students to take an active role in their education

Requirements:

A degree in any subject, with a strong desire to pursue a career in education
Experience or interest in working with young people, ideally within a school setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
A proactive, adaptable attitude with a commitment to supporting student achievement and well-being
Enthusiasm for education and helping students reach their full potential
