Job Title: Mathematics Teacher
Location: M45 7PH
Pay Rate: £200 per day
An experienced Mathematics Teacher is required for a long-term position at a secondary school in Whitefield, Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver comprehensive Mathematics lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Inspire students to explore mathematical concepts and develop problem-solving abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they achieve their academic potential.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4 in a UK secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and student success.
