Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented social science teacher to join a successful grammar school in Trafford to cover a part time paternity leave in October.

The Role

Teacher of Psychology to GCSE and A level and Sociology to A Level.

Mondays and Wednesdays 8.30am to 3.30pm for three weeks in October. (start date tbc)

Excellent subject knowledge of the AQA syllabus for both subjects up to key stage 5 is essential

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students.

The school are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS Teachers or further education teachers with experience of teaching students aged 14 to 18.

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS or be an NQT/ECT or significant experience as an FE qualified teacher of teaching children aged 14-18
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Ideally be able to provide excellent references
