If you answered yes, then this opportunity is for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEMH Teacher to join our thriving school community in Gorton. This permanent or long-term, full-time position offers a competitive salary and is available to start as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a range of SEMH needs.
  • Assess and monitor student's progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that fosters independence and confidence.
  • Support the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and track progress.
  • Attend meetings and training, and participate in school events as required.
About You:
  • We are looking for an SEMH Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) as mandatory.
  • Proven experience in teaching students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Passionate about making a difference in students' lives.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of each student.
  • A positive, patient, and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
