TimePlan Education is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive mainstream primary school in Oldham, supporting a child in a class with a diagnosis of autism. This role is ideal for a qualified and experienced TA who is passionate about making a difference in children's learning.
The Role:
- Providing 1:1 support to the pupil with ASD
- Assisting the class teacher
- Leading activities and supporting the child with their learning and development.
- Helping with behaviour management
- utilsing class resources to engage with the pupil
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a primary school setting.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
