Teaching Assistant - South Manchester
Do you have experience working with pupils with SEMH within a Secondary School setting?
We are working with a large Secondary School in the Manchester area who have an immediate requirement for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupils with SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health). You will assist pupils throughout the school day to various lessons. It is essential that you have a good understanding of the national curriculum and are IT literate as you will be required to complete paperwork and reports for the pupils.
Non-Negotiables:
* Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
* Have previous experience working with pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour
* Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
* Have at least 6 months school based experience of working in a UK school setting.
* Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
* Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
