Description

  • Electronic Integration: Work on the electronic integration of our proprietary IR devices to cover large areas and ensure reliable performance.
  • Technology Advancement: Contribute to advancing the Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) of SmartIR's core technology.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Interaction: Build and maintain direct relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring effective project delivery and meeting project requirements.
  • Project Development Support: Assist in the design and manufacture of SmartIR solutions, as well as their integration into end-user applications.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of hardware and software components.

Profile

  • Embedded Programming: Proficiency in Embedded C and/or Embedded C++.
  • Communication Protocols: Strong knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, I2C, etc.
  • Electronic Design: Experience with both analogue and digital electronic design.
  • Microcontroller Design: Practical experience in microcontroller-based systems design, with a background in Arduino-based boards and transitioning to ARM Chipset/STM32.
  • Circuit Design & Component Knowledge: Solid understanding of analogue and digital circuits, electronic components, and the ability to interpret microcontroller datasheets.
  • Location: Must be based in the Manchester & NW area and able to commute daily to the GEIC in Manchester.
