 As the team adds additional platform functionality this Head of Engineering will work closely with the Head of Data and Product on developing a robust yet flexible technical roadmap whilst driving best practice, workflow management and an autonomous, entrepreneurial culture across the engineering team.

This Head of Engineering based near Manchester should have most of the following key skills:

- Recent full stack development (python, PHP, JavaScript etc) experience (this role will initially be 80% hands on, 20% technical strategy)
- Experience building and supporting web applications in AWS
- Cloud native architecture experience
- Solid pipeline automation skills (CI/CD)
- Experience leading TDD, automated engineering teams
- Proven team leadership skills
- Ability to shape a technical strategy
- Experience of data pipelines/ ETL processes would be a real plus
