Lead Finance Analyst

Inside IR35 - Hybrid (Occasional travel to site in Manchester)

We are currently looking for a Lead Finance Analyst to join our prestigious clients finance team. As a Lead Finance Analyst you will support the central costs team and work closely with other teams across finance. As the business is constantly changing and evolving we are looking for somebody who is adaptable and work flexibly across different finance teams.

What you will do:

  • Provide analytical, budgeting and forecasting reporting and maintain a monthly rolling forecast
  • Own monthly performance reporting for food support centre, providing insight to risks and opportunities
  • Support the Finance Business Partners
  • Create month end reporting packs with commentary
  • Meet month end deadlines
  • Work flexibly across the finance team
  • Work with different stakeholders at all levels

This role would suit people who have

  • An accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA or CIMA) or are currently working towards one
  • Experience making improvements to reporting processes and delivering actionable insights
  • Understanding and experience within financial modelling
  • Ability to understand core accounting principles and think commercially
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present to financial and non-financial partners, challenging and influencing where necessary the ability to prioritise the right tasks in a complex, changing environment
