This role sits within our Cleaning business division that provides cleaning and hygiene services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Transport market.

About The Role:As Train Cleaning Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervising a small team of train cleaning operatives
  • Conducting cleaning audits on a nightly basis to ensure that standards being maintained.
  • Ensuring the internal of trains are cleaned to the required specification, in accordance with Health and Safety compliance.
  • To also carry out delegated cleaning tasks in accordance with agreed procedures which includes litter picking, removing unauthorised stickers, cleaning and replenishing toilets, and ensuring all surfaces are free from any obvious marks, staining & smearing.
  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness on servicing on trains.
  • Manging team hours and office admin

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • You must have Right to Work in the UK
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • You will be able to work to deadlines and prioritise as well as be flexible with working hours and days.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and confidence in leading a team within a busy environment
