We are currently working with a property management company based in Manchester who are looking to appoint a HR Manager on a permanent basis.

This role is a newly created position, and will suit a generalist comfortable with getting stuck in at all levels of the business and undertaking both operational and some strategic work.

They can offer a salary of £40,000 and hybrid working after passing probation, with 2-3 days WFH.

Duties include (but not limited to):

  • Supporting, mentoring and guiding the business on all aspects of the HR and people development to ensure the implementation of best practice policies and procedures

  • Managing all employee relations and absence issues, such as grievances, disciplinary actions and performance management, including conducting investigations

  • Identifying staffing needs and helping develop the organisational structure and the creation of job descriptions to support future growth

  • Ensuring best practice is followed in recruitment and selection and onboarding and induction activities
  • Updating company policies and keeping abreast of any changes in legal requirements

Skills / experience required:

  • CIPD level 5 (minimum)

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR management role

Working pattern:

  • Monday - Friday

  • 37 hours p/w (8:30-5:00)

  • Hybrid working after passing probation
