Oakleaf Partnership are working with a dynamic, family-owned business experiencing significant growth. They have exciting plans to increase turnover to over £100million, driven by innovation, automation, and expansion into new markets globally. Operating across multiple sectors, they embrace a collaborative structure while fostering an entrepreneurial and results-driven culture. To support their growth, they are seeking a commercially minded HR Manager to lead and enhance their HR function. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to shape the people strategy in a growing organization.
The Role:
As HR Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to
- Strategically Lead HR: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the business's growth plans and participate in monthly leadership meetings to drive people-focused decisions.
- Deliver Operational HR Excellence: Manage day-to-day HR responsibilities, including handling employee relations cases and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Focus on Learning & Development: Address L&D gaps, upskill managers, and introduce structured training programs to develop talent and improve performance.
- Support Business Transformation: Play a pivotal role in adapting to system upgrades and organizational changes, ensuring the workforce is aligned with future business needs.
- Champion the Culture: Balance commercial HR practices with the preservation of a collaborative, family-oriented workplace ethos.
Candidate profile/experience:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar HR role. You will be commercially focused and will understand the balance between people and profit. You will possess strong employee relations expertise including handling complex cases. Having previously worked in a generalist capacity, you will have experience in L&D strategy with a proven track record of designing and implementing effective programs. You will be hands-on and pragmatic with the ability to manage both strategic and operational HR tasks effectively. CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent experience required, along with a desire to progress your own career and development.
