Are you passionate about promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion? 

The University is looking for an experienced Lead EDI Business Partner to join our team. In this strategic role, you will drive the development and implementation of EDI strategies, provide expert advice, and partner with departments across the University to foster an inclusive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of EDI strategies and action plans.
  • Build effective relationships and collaborate with departments to achieve EDI goals.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the EDI team.
  • Offer expert advice on EDI policies, practices, and legislation.
  • Create tailored EDI plans for academic faculties and professional services.
  • Ensure compliance with equality law and promote best practices.
  • Lead EDI training and development programs.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of EDI initiatives.
  • Represent the University at external EDI events and networks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior EDI role
  • In-depth knowledge of EDI legislation, best practices, and current trends.
  • Strong business partnering skills and experience.
  • Significant leadership experience with a proven record in managing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
