Description
The key responsibilities of a Payroll Manager will include:
- Manage and oversee all payroll processes and procedures
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately
- Manage relationships with payroll providers
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
- Supervise and coach team members to enhance performance
- Prepare reports for senior management
- Handle payroll tax, benefits and pension administration
- Participate in payroll system upgrades and testing
Profile
A successful Payroll Manager should have:
- Experience in payroll management and end-to-end payroll processes.
- Knowledge of payroll software ideally Oracle.
- CIPP/ CIPD qualified.
- Experience with manual calculations with the ability to teach junior team members.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Understanding of payroll taxes and benefits administration
