Our client is seeking a dedicated Payroll Manager to join their innovative People and Workplace team. In this role, you'll lead a team of 5-6 individuals, working together to ensure the efficient, compliant, and accurate processing of payroll. You'll report to the Head of Payroll & Reward and be responsible for dayto day Workday payroll for all UK employees within the group. This role also offers involvement in a variety of Reward projects, utilizing technology to drive efficiency

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee and input accurate monthly payroll data in Workday HRIS, including team coordination and delegation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes, ensuring they're documented, streamlined, and easy to cover.
  • Lead and develop team members, providing support and training to ensure high performance and team growth.
  • Partner effectively with People and Finance teams to ensure accurate information flow and understanding.
  • Manage third-party benefit provider relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and efficient completion of all HMRC returns.

What You Bring:To succeed as a Payroll Manager, you'll have excellent payroll systems knowledge, hands-on payroll management experience, and team leadership skills. You're detail-oriented, highly numerate, and skilled in communication, with strong knowledge of pension administration including auto-enrolment. You're also experienced in reconciling third-party uploads.
