Description

The key responsibilities of a Payroll Manager will include:

  • Manage and oversee all payroll processes and procedures
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately
  • Manage relationships with payroll providers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
  • Supervise and coach team members to enhance performance
  • Prepare reports for senior management
  • Handle payroll tax, benefits and pension administration
  • Participate in payroll system upgrades and testing

Profile

A successful Payroll Manager should have:

  • Experience in payroll management and end-to-end payroll processes.
  • Knowledge of payroll software ideally Oracle.
  • CIPP/ CIPD qualified.
  • Experience with manual calculations with the ability to teach junior team members.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Understanding of payroll taxes and benefits administration
