Medlock Partners are proud to be supporting a well-known Manchester based business in identifying a Reward Manager on a 12-month FTC.

This role would suit someone able to hit the ground running, someone who loves working autonomously in a fast paced and transformative environment. This person will have experience of writing Remco reports and will work closely with the CPO and CEO on the Reward strategy.

Our client is looking for someone to start ASAP.

Key Responsibilities of the Reward Manager:

  • Working with the CPO to develop and execute the company’s total rewards strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Oversee internal compensation structures, undertaking internal and external salary benchmarking where possible, to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Lead on all share related activity across the business including the implementation of the Group’s Executive and Leadership share scheme plans.
  • Support the CPO & Legal team with all Reward based remuneration activity
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, pension schemes, and other perks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development of performance-based reward programs and incentive schemes to drive engagement and productivity.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and senior leadership to budget and forecast compensation and benefits expenditures.
  • Implement and manage employee recognition initiatives that enhance company culture and employee satisfaction.
  • Utilise data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of rewards programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations across multiple regions (including our international locations), where applicable.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a small team to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Key requirements of the Reward Manager:

  • Proven experience in rewards, compensation, and benefits, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a small team.
  • Expertise in salary benchmarking, job evaluation methodologies, and compensation analytics.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
