Hours: 37.5 Monday to Friday

As an HR Advisor on a 9-month fixed-term contract, you will play a crucial role in supporting our managers and colleagues by providing expert HR advice and guidance. With a strong focus on Employee Relations (ER), you will be the go-to person for non-transactional HR matters, ensuring that our people strategies align with business objectives during this maternity cover period.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage Employee Relations cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Provide coaching and HR advice to managers on performance management, recruitment, and HR policies
  • Support absence management, including long-term sickness cases, with Occupational Health as needed.
  • Deliver accurate people management information (MI) to support business decisions
  • Advise on organisational restructuring and redundancy processes
  • Collaborate with People Services to enhance colleague experience and manage cyclical activities
  • Undertake HR projects and support cross-functional initiatives

ABOUT YOU

  • CIPD Level 5 Preferred
  • Experience in managing complex Employee Relations cases
  • Strong coaching skills with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • High attention to detail, with strong organisational and planning abilities
  • Proactive, commercially-minded, and able to resolve business issues with pace
