We are working with an award-winning, national business compliance company that offers HR and Employment Law advice to small businesses across the UK.

Basic salary up to £35,000, dependent on experience and based on a 37.5-hour week. 40-hour weeks are available, with a pro rata increase in base (e.g., £32k - £34k), and additional overtime is available too. Some weekend work is required (one day, every three weeks or thereabouts), but you will receive a day off in the week so that you are always working 5 days, unless you choose to work overtime.

Shifts are between 6am and 9pm, rotating on a weekly basis usually. There is flexibility to set these in place if required.About the job:

In this role you will be responsible for providing professional HR and Employment Law advice and excellent service to clients across the UK via telephone and email. You will need to work as part of a team in order to ensure that the advice you are providing to clients meets their specific needs and is compliant with the law. In some cases, you may have to highlight options that are not compliant, and make sure that the client completely understands the risks they would be taking if they chose to take these.

This role has rotating hours - you will work a minimum of 7 and a half hours per day, with the option to work more if you’d like to. The hours range from 6am - 9pm, so you might work 7am-3pm one week, 9am-5pm another week and so on. If you are unable to work a rotating shift pattern, you will still be considered for the role as set hours that don’t alternate can be allocated for the right individual.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Meeting personal and department KPI’s
  • Supporting clients with legally compliant advice and adding a personal touch
  • Putting the client first at all times
  • Responding within contractual SLA’s (Service Level Agreements)
  • Guiding clients with all Employment Law/HR enquiries they might have
  • Providing as many options to clients as possible
  • Taking ownership and responsibility of cases to resolve them
  • Building strong relationships with clients during each interaction
  • Recording the advice you have given to clients accurately on the databases
  • Supporting with advice on documentation and information implementation
  • Supporting clients in drafting ad-hoc letters where required
  • Advising in line with the client’s documents and taking their terms and conditions into consideration
  • Attending legal briefings and internal training to make sure the advice you are giving out is compliant with the company’s services
  • Studying and staying up to date with any changes in legislation and best practice
  • Delivering an outstanding service at all times
  • Attending video conference calls if needed
  • Referring the company’s other services and products to clients
  • Attending departmental and office team meetings
  • Carrying out any other tasks deemed necessary by management

  • Previous experience within HR is required in a similar setting, internally for a business or as part of other roles for example management positions
