Our client is a dynamic, high-growth company based in Manchester who are seeking a talented HR & Talent Advisor to join their team and help them build a world-class HR function.

About the Role:

As their first HR & Talent Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping company culture and driving talent strategy. You will have the opportunity to build the HR function from the ground up, implementing best practices and policies that support our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the entire recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
  • Learning and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, process payroll, and ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
  • Culture Building: Contribute to a positive and inclusive company culture that attracts and retains top talent.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • CIPD Qualified (Ideally).
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a fast-paced SME environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
