Your New Role

Within your new role as HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing high quality people service support to both employees and line managers within your designated service area. Your responsibilities will include:

  • To provide advice & guidance to employees & line managers on all HR issues.
  • Support business areas in the management of all employee relations issues - low level & complex ER Casework.
  • Support managers to effectively manage sickness absence.
  • Supporting service restructures, redundancies and TUPE processes.
  • Coaching & Upskilling junior team members.
  • Staff engagement, DEI and wellbeing focus.
  • Exit interviews (use collected data to inform retention initiatives and strategies involving the wider HR team).
  • HR Project Work
  • Plus, other.

As HR Advisor, you will be required to work flexibly, including travel to other sites (must drive) in and around Greater Manchester where required. You will be enthusiastic about collaborating with other colleagues in the people service team, including proactively identifying areas for service improvement.
