We are recruiting for a part time temporary HR officer, this role is 3 days per week (21hrs) for an inspiring humanitarian charity. You will work across the HR team providing first line HR support to managers, you need strong a employee relations background for this role .Hybrid working within one of the following locations Manchester , London, Birmingham, or Bradford . The RoleProvide initial HR advice and support to staff, escalating to other HR team members as necessarySupport the HR Lead and Head of HR with employee relations caseworkSupport with HR projects and processes including reviewing HR Policies and ProceduresWork across the HR team and wider organisation, providing support as neededSupport and work with the HR Coordinator where needed Deliver a consistent and timely values-based HR role where advice and support are aligned to organisational values and objectiveThe CandidateA CIPD qualification or working towards a CIPD qualification, or an equivalent non-UK HR qualification.Experience of working in a generalist HR Officer role that supports and advises staff on a range of employment mattersExperience of building and maintaining good working relationships with staff at all levels, and influence managers on correct practicesExperience of developing HR practices, policies and systemsExperience of generating and using data from HR systemsA working knowledge of UK employment law sufficient to assess riskGood numeracy levels to aid calculations of annual leave, data analysis A strong understanding and commitment to GDPR and confidentialityGood office administration skills including the use of spreadsheets /databases/word-processing packageIMPORTANT NOTEOur aim is to respond to all successful applications within 5 days.
