Proactive Personnel are currnently recruiting for a Chemical Process Operator on behalf of our client based in Radcliffe.

The role will require you to provide a good quality service to customers by fulfilling order requirements for liquid fragrances, meeting deadlines, and ensuring that all products meet the ISO 9001 standard.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mix raw materials in accordance with the formulation
  • Remove required Q.C. samples and place in Q.C. collection tray with appropriate paperwork
  • Operate automated mixing equipment
  • Cleaning of mixing equipment
  • Use the RF scanning process to ensure that all raw materials are added & recorded correctly in IFS
  • Weigh out and manually blend fragrance materials in accordance with the "small balance" part required on the formula, placing the finished compound in the appropriate storage area to await collection.
  • Manufacturing orders up to 5kg
  • Verify container size/types and finished fragrance compound to make sure it matches the order and labels to dispense/pack the product in accordance with the customer’s order.
  • Place correct labels onto appropriate number and size of containers.
  • Fill off compound into correct containers - move and handle goods/containers using the correct material handling equipment.
  • Close completed orders within IFS
  • Fill, pack and label any stock blends or raw materials in accordance with customer orders.

You will be required to work on a rotating shift pattern, Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (36 hours per week).

Salary increases to higher rate once training is completed.
