Account Manager
£13.73 per hour (£25,000 per annum)
Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm (35 hour working week)
100% office based role.
Atherton Area - free car parking on site

I am seeking a motivated, driven individual to manage and develop a portfolio of accounts across Manchester and Liverpool. These clients needs attention and a key contact to understand their buying needs and help support them to make the most of their current account.
The role would be part of an extended, highly experienced and supportive team made up of sales managers, sales support and account managers. This team have 10 to 25 years of industry experience, so you would be learning from a great group of individuals who want you to succeed.
This role would suit someone who enjoys speaking to customers, likes to ask questions and find out information and then build a relationship. You will be speaking to people of all levels within businesses, so you need to have the confidence and ability to be able to have these conversations to understand their buying needs.
Ideally the successful person will bring through a key amount of clients that they can then manage directly enabling them to move into a sales manager position. This would involve a promotion, salary increase and the ability to earn bonus. The sales manager role would involve meeting clients face to face, which is why the ability to drive is required.
My client is open to experience however you need to have excellent customer service skills, the drive to want to develop and build relationships which will then increase sales revenue.
Key responsibilities:
- Reconnect with clients who may have had limited contact over the past year, building relationships and performing thorough fact-finding.
- Identify opportunities to expand product offerings within client accounts, address pricing concerns, and discuss how we can better meet their needs.
- Identify potential client projects, establish how we can contribute, and coordinate Sales Managers to visit and further assess client requirements.
- Investigate where clients are sourcing products elsewhere and strategize on how we can win back all their business.
- Work collaboratively with the wider sales team to deliver exceptional service and drive revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities to expand product offerings within client accounts, address pricing concerns, and discuss how we can better meet their needs.
