Our client is on the hunt for a dynamic Internal Hardware and Software Engineer to work closely with the CEO and various departments, bringing their vision to life by creating cutting-edge hardware and software solutions. Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Implementation

  • Translate the CEO's vision into concrete hardware and software solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Design, develop, and test both hardware and embedded software for new and existing products.
  • Oversee the integration of hardware and software to ensure seamless performance and functionality.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and proof-of-concept development for new product ideas.

Technical Coordination & Project Management

  • Manage all aspects of product development, collaborating closely with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
  • Define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring that all products are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure smooth product lifecycle management.

Innovation & Research

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor advancements to drive product innovation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing products and develop new solutions.
  • Ensure that all products meet relevant industry standards and certifications.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, Production, and Support teams to ensure smooth product rollouts.
  • Document engineering processes, designs, and test results for internal use and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams on new products and technologies.

Skills

Essential:

  • Proven experience in hardware and software engineering, ideally within the Pro AV, electronics, or embedded systems sectors.
  • Strong background in embedded systems development, including firmware programming (C/C++, Python, or similar).
  • Expertise in hardware design, including PCB layout, circuit design, and microcontroller-based systems.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, AV signal distribution, or control systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) and experience in taking products from concept to market.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with compliance testing and certification processes.

Desirable:

  • Experience with FPGA programming, DSP, or real-time embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD software for hardware design.
  • Knowledge of AV-over-IP, HDBaseT, or similar AV transmission technologies.
