Your new roleThe SAP Product Manager (EMEA) will play a critical role in supporting and developing the SAP SuccessFactors Platform across 19 countries which is used by over 4000 employees. The role involves overseeing technical aspects, managing key integrations, collaborating with the programme team and implementation partners, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, and taking accountability for service delivery and ongoing improvements. The position is part of a new team in the early stages of transitioning to an SAP back-office (BAU) function.
You will oversee the strategic direction, development, and lifecycle management of SAP SuccessFactors products (SAP S/4 HANA and SuccessFactors). The successful candidate requires a deep understanding of SAP solutions, business processes, and industry trends to drive innovation and maximize SAP investments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with Application Management Services (AMS) partners to maintain smooth operations and support for the SAP platform.
- Work with the Service Delivery Team to adhere to ITIL standards in managing support, changes, problems, and incidents, ensuring third-party providers operate within the EMEA Service Delivery model.
- Build collaborative relationships with SuccessFactors and S/4 HANA Delivery Partners to ensure knowledge transfer and adherence to technical governance around the SAP platform.
- Create and share a clear vision and strategy for SAP solutions that align with business objectives and market demands.
- Outline key initiatives, features, and enhancements planned for future releases, ensuring the roadmap aligns with business goals.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to collect requirements and prioritize features based on business value and customer needs.
- Work with the SuccessFactors Product Owner and IT Platform Team to manage the backlog of enhancements, define release plans, and ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of high-quality products.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and collect feedback from stakeholders to validate product functionality and usability.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including HR leadership, business process owners, and in-country HR teams, to ensure the platform's operation and future direction align with broader business objectives.
- Implement initiatives to enhance product usability, performance, and scalability, and monitor KPIs such as adoption rates and customer satisfaction to identify areas for improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3+ years of experience in product management roles, focusing on SAP solutions and enterprise software.
- Understanding of SAP SuccessFactors modules and integration capabilities, with experience in SAP implementation projects and support environments.
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills to influence stakeholders and drive consensus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of launching and managing enterprise software products.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- ITIL and SAP relevant certifications (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Integration Suite) are desirable.
