I am lucky enough to be working with a dynamic and innovative company specializing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. Their mission is to help businesses streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency through cutting-edge automation technology.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an RPA Business Analyst for client facing interaction for the RPA software solutions. This may suit a Junior BA in RPA or a Junior BA looking to learn the RPA Solutions.
RPA Business Analyst Specification:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document current business processes.
- Identify potential automation opportunities and assess feasibility.
- Create detailed process design documents (PDD) and other supporting documentation.
- Requirements Gathering:
- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for RPA solutions.
- Work with technical teams to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Support Development and Testing:
- Assist in the design and development of RPA workflows.
- Participate in testing activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Support the creation of test cases, test plans, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a bridge between business users and the RPA development team.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and address stakeholder questions or concerns.
- Post-Implementation Support:
- Monitor RPA implementations to ensure smooth operation.
- Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for production RPA bots.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of process mapping and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Visio.
- Experience or knowledge of RPA concepts and tools.
- Exposure to Agile project methodologies.
- Familiarity with business process improvement techniques like Lean or Six Sigma.
