Contract Role - Technical Business Analyst (Vaulting - Backups & Recovery) - Contract - Leeds/Manchester /Hybrid - 06 Months Initial

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Project Manager/Delivery Manager (Vaulting - Backups & Recovery) to join our team. This role focuses on enterprise-level backup and recovery programs, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective solutions that enhance our operational resilience. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing current processes, identifying areas for improvement and facilitating the successful implementation of backup and recovery strategies.

Role Overview:

  • Job Title: Technical Business Analyst (Vaulting - Backups & Recovery)
  • Location: Leeds/Manchester/Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)
  • Contract Type: Contract
  • Duration: 06 - 12 months initially (Project Duration 12-18 months)
  • Sector: Banking

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience working in enterprise-level backup and recovery programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for backup and recovery solutions.
  • Assess current backup and recovery processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements specifications, project plans, and status reports.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and support for project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure users are familiar with new systems and processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to backup, recovery, and cloud environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in enterprise-level backup and recovery programs.
  • Strong understanding of cloud environments and related technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management and disaster recovery best practices.
  • A technical or engineering background is preferred, with familiarity in backup tools and technologies (e.g., Veeam, CommVault, etc.).
  • Previous experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and working practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Ability to develop strategic project plans and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proven experience in delivering projects on time and within budget constraints.
