Our client in Manchester is looking for an experienced 2nd Line Support analyst to deal and respond with 2nd line incidents and service requests. A good understanding of technology and customer service will be essential.

Key Skills and responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd line support and work in line with SLA's
  • Act as an escalation point for any technical related queries 
  • Provide desktop support, general troubleshooting and dealing with logged tickets 
  • Deploy, maintain and update IT hardware 
  • Troubleshoot a range technical issues, investigate, diagnose faults and work to resolve these in line with SLA's
  • Provide excellent customer service whilst dealing with IT related incidents 

Essential skills and experience

  • Previous experience working in a 2nd line support role and experience working in IT service management 
  • Experience of working in line with SLA's
  • Good technical understanding of IT services 
  • Experience in the following but not limited to: O365, MS applications, MS Teams, Active Directory, Windows OS, Windows Sever, Ticketing systems
  • A valid driving license with access to a car as travel to other sites may be required
