UK Staffing Group are looking for an experienced IT manager that's looking to make a significant impact in the financial services industry. Our client is a leading financial processing company that is seeking a dynamic IT Manager to oversee their global IT operations and support their continued growth and expansion.
In this role, you will lead their IT team in Manchester, developing and implementing IT Strategies that align with their business objectives. You will manage their IT infrastructure, ensure the security and compliance of our systems, and provide technical support to minimize disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:

IT Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with our client's business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead the IT team in Manchester, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services.

Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of our client's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of IT systems to support business operations and expansion.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their IT needs and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.

Project Management:
- Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Implement project management methodologies to track progress, manage risks, and report on project status.

Security and Compliance:
- Work closely with the security team to ensure IT systems comply with relevant regulations and standards, such as PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
- Implement security measures to protect our client's IT infrastructure from cyber threats and data breaches.

Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, policies, and procedures to support the IT team and end-users.

Budget Management:
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement and allocation of IT resources.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the IT department.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT management, with a strong background in financial services or a related industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and data centers.
- Experience with IT security and compliance, including familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial planning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
