Overview:We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an IT systems and networking - Azure Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship. 

With an impressive portfolio of customers in both the public and private sectors, we have a variety of exciting projects to be involved in. As a technology agnostic organisation, you’ll gain exposure to the world’s leading and latest technology.

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum.

Main Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the deployment and maintenance of infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, and storage
  • Monitor system performance and assist with troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance
  • Support the migration of systems and applications to new platforms
  • Assist with the implementation of security measures to protect systems and data
  • Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot network-related issues
  • Effectively communicate with customers regarding technical issues and provide excellent customer service
  • Work with colleagues and client teams to help resolve critical issues
  • Assist in managing network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points

What we are looking for: Essential skills or knowledge:

  • Passion for technology and eagerness to learn
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles and technologies
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Expectations:

  • Candidates need to SC Cleared or Eligible for SC Clearance.
  • Candidates need to be commutable to the Manchester office.
  • The work will be based on a 24x7 shift rota.

Drive, location not duties: Please Note - Being able to drive is preferred but not essential as long as you are within an hour commute. 

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
