A well-established business is looking for an accomplished Infrastructure Engineer to join its sizeable IT team on an initial 6 month contract. This organisation embraces flexibility so the successful candidate will be able to work from home full time. Please note, this role is Outside IR35. Â Â Â Â In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility, you MUST be a consummate communicator with demonstrable expertise in the administration and support of Office 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory and VMware. Strong PowerShell skills, coupled with a secure understanding of SANs and networking (switches), would also be highly advantageous to your application.
Your focus will be on optimizing and improving the reliability of on-prem and cloud solutions and play a key role in maintaining, supporting and monitoring the technology estate including servers, storage, network, data and applications.  As part of a dynamic hybrid team you, you will be responsible for the operation, support and development of the IT infrastructure. Working with a broad range of technologies you will provide a proactive support service, ensuring systems remain accessible, available and well managed.
