The Role
In this role you will play a role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, deploying and managing IT infrastructure.
- Handling system administration tasks.
- Handling escalated support issues and mentoring junior team members.
- Monitoring system performance, analysing trends and applying optimisations.
- Creating and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
- Developing and implementing IT Infrastructure projects & security enhancements.
- Maintaining precise documentation of infrastructure configurations.
Requirements
- 5 years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
- Knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as VMware, vSphere, vSAN and vCentre.
- Proficiency of networking concepts and Protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Building and Configuration of Servers such as Windows and Linux.
- Familiarity with security principles.
- Skills with troubleshooting.
- Experience with deploying and managing enterprise-level storage solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and experience in implementing necessary controls.
