The Role

In this role you will play a role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, deploying and managing IT infrastructure.
  • Handling system administration tasks.
  • Handling escalated support issues and mentoring junior team members.
  • Monitoring system performance, analysing trends and applying optimisations.
  • Creating and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
  • Developing and implementing IT Infrastructure projects & security enhancements.
  • Maintaining precise documentation of infrastructure configurations.

Requirements

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as VMware, vSphere, vSAN and vCentre.
  • Proficiency of networking concepts and Protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Building and Configuration of Servers such as Windows and Linux.
  • Familiarity with security principles.
  • Skills with troubleshooting.
  • Experience with deploying and managing enterprise-level storage solutions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and experience in implementing necessary controls.
