Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their dynamic Network Support Team. Youll play a key role in managing and supporting network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across multiple sites
- Monitor network performance and optimize for efficiency
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other teams
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality network services
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in network engineering roles, ideally within an enterprise environment
- Strong knowledge of Cisco products, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Expertise in network security, VPNs, and load balancing
- Familiarity with networking protocols and tools (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, including setup and management
- Ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Desirable:
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
