Data Governance Manager - 6 month contract (inside IR35) - Public Sector I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Data Governance Manager to help design and deliver efficient Data Governance solutions with focus on Data Sharing for our public sector client in the North of England. You can be based in offices in either NE or NW with min of 2 days onsite per week.This will suit someone who has strong experience in developing and implementing Data Governance frameworks, ensuring Data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the company. You will be working with cross-functional teams to maintain Data Quality standards, mitigate Risks, and drive Data-related best practices.I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have

  • Proven experience in Data Governance or related fields, ideally within the Public Sector
  • Strong understanding of Data Management principles and regulations, particularly around Data Sharing.
  • Excellent knowledge of Data Sharing components of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, including the application of Lawful Basis and Legal Gateways
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Flexibility to work 2 days onsite weekly
