Salt is working with a leading retailer dedicated to providing the best products and services for pet owners, who are seeking an experienced Digital Operations Manager to join the eCommerce team on a 6-month FTC.

This role will be critical in ensuring a seamless and consistent customer journey across digital platforms, identifying and resolving performance issues, and collaborating with various teams to enhance the overall user experience.

  • Immediate start, 6-month FTC
  • Circa £45,000 - 55,000 pro rata salary
  • Hybrid working in Manchester

You will:

  • Support and manage the day-to-day operations of the digital experience, ensuring that all digital platforms are functioning optimally and meeting customer expectations
  • Act as the first point of contact for any operational issues, troubleshooting problems, and implementing solutions quickly and effectively
  • Monitor digital platforms for performance metrics, identifying any issues or potential drops in service quality
  • Set up and manage alerting systems to ensure that any drops in performance are flagged and addressed promptly
  • Manage relationships with key third-party suppliers, ensuring they contribute positively to the digital experience
  • Coordinate with suppliers to address and resolve any issues that impact the performance or reliability of the digital platforms

You will need:

  • Strong experience in digital operations or digital product management, with a strong understanding of digital platforms, eCommerce, and customer experience management
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools and systems for digital platforms
  • Excellent problem management skills, and strong experience managing third-party suppliers or vendors
