IT Applications Manager - flexible hybrid working offered

We are working with a prestigious professional services client, acknowledged as one of the leaders in their field looking to engage an IT Applications Manager due to growth within the Team.

With a Global operation this IT Business Applications Manager will be based out of their Manchester site but may have cross border responsibilities.

The role has been created due to a reorganisation within their Global team and is key to their operation. You will be responsible for leading the function that controls the deployment and maintenance of the diverse applications utilised.

This is a strategic rather than hands on roleand you must have experience in reporting to Board level.

They are a Microsoft house but also utilise a number of industry specific applications for which support will be given to you to get to grips with.

Some Responsibilities & Essential Experience/ Qualifications required:

• You will be acting as the SME for technology questions, issues, upgrades, and installations in relation to enterprise applications
• You will be designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise applications systems; examples include but are not limited to, Document Management, Client Relationship Management, and Intake and Risk systems
• You will be pivotal in developing and ensuring the deployment of software fixes, security patches, and feature updates to maintain a secure and stable environment
• You must have proven experience in team management although this will not be directly overseeing the Team on a day to day basis
• Due to the scale of the organisation is it essential that you have experience working in large scale formal corporate environments - professional services would be preferred but other industries may be relevant
• You must have demonstrable knowledge of and proficiency in multi-tier enterprise application platforms, PC applications and remote communication methodologies
• You will be able to evidence strong analytical skills
• You must be familiar with SQL and some knowledge of Application and Web Servers
• Scripting experience (ie Powershell) would be beneficial but not essential
