One of our public sector clients requires a Service Manager / IT Asset Manager to join their Business Operations department.
You will have experience in the following:
- managing the full lifecycle of IT assets (hardware, software, peripherals) from procurement to disposal.
- auditing, managing, tracking assets, including the set up of new hardware / software.
- communicating organisation IT strategy and policy within specific business units.
- forecasting IT technology needs
- responsible for IT spend across business units
- experience managing 'self service' solutions such as laptop loan lockers / IT Vending units.
This is a 6 months contract offfering a day rate circa £300 inside ir35. Extensions likely.
**this role is 100% onsite. You must be able to be on-site in Salford 5 days per week**
