We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead to be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key IT services and technologies, ensuring their effectiveness, security, and stability. This role combines technical leadership with operations management, focusing on process improvements, complex incident resolution, and enhancing service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Own the SME role for key technologies, leading root cause analysis and improving monitoring systems.
- Service Support: Ensure system reliability, lead responses to major incidents, and develop automation for operational tasks.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor the team, prioritise problems, and support performance reviews.
- Process Management: Implement operational processes, manage change, and drive capacity planning.
- Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and operational viability.
- Expertise in IT infrastructure and technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, Azure).
- Strong leadership and analytical skills, with a focus on improving processes and solving complex issues.
- Experience in service support, automation, and operations management.
