Cedar have partnered with a Rail business who are seeking to appoint a Project Manager with rail experience to assist with a large data project in preparation for the transition to a public owned structure.

Job title: Project Manager

Contract type: 12 month FTC

Location: Flexible (will be a requirement to travel to London on an ad-hoc basis)

Work pattern: 3 days in the office

Salary: Flexible depending on experience - please note this role wont be paid on a day rate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the business in delivering business change & continuous improvement in management of business information & data to meet requirements of the transition to a public owned rail structure
  • Work with the business to identify current gaps in data process, design & build improved process for reporting & sharing data
  • Lead design and build of data maps, controls & systems to meet the business change required by the project remit
  • Identify & drive improvements in data collection aligning with ongoing data strategy

Your profile:

  • Experience of leading a business change project
  • Proven experience of railway operations, data & reporting time frames
  • Working knowledge of railway terms & conditions
