eCommerce Project Manager - Manchester (Hybrid - 1 day in office) - £35,000 - £50,000 (DOE) ECOM are delighted to have partnered with an eCommerce agency with extensive experience in delivering complex digital solutions for a wide range of national and international clients. Established over a decade ago, our client have become a trusted partner for implementing advanced eCommerce platforms and delivering strategic digital marketing campaigns. Their expertise lies in platforms like Adobe Commerce (Magento), and they are seeking a skilled eCommerce Project Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. As the project manager, you will be integral to the successful delivery of eCommerce projects, primarily focused on the Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform but the client also touch on other platforms such as Shopify. Your responsibilities will include managing end-to-end project lifecycles, from initial implementation to ongoing development and support for clients. You will be expected to work closely with clients, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining project timelines and budgets. The role demands strong organisational skills, the ability to work within an agile framework, and a proactive approach to project management. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage eCommerce projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. - Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and maintaining strong professional relationships. - Collaborate with the development team to clearly define project requirements and ensure successful delivery. - Apply agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to manage project workflows and deliverables. - Oversee the financial aspects of projects, including budget tracking and financial reporting. - Provide strategic guidance and take the initiative in driving projects forward, with minimal need for oversight. - Assist with product configuration and user story writing to support project delivery. Key Attributes: - At least 2 years of experience in managing eCommerce projects. - Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms such as Adobe Commerce (Magento), Shopify, BigCommerce etc. - Proficiency in agile project management methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively manage client interactions. - A self-motivated individual who can take the lead on projects and drive them to completion. - Strong organisational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. - A genuine passion for eCommerce and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
