Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior IT Projects Manager to lead our project management team. This role involves overseeing the delivery of client-funded projects, managing a team of project managers, project engineers and handling your own projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Delivery:* Key understanding of Technical Delivery - Previous hands-on experience would be beneficial * Experience working in the IT Managed Services and understanding the full project life cycle * Methodologies - Agile and Waterfall

Leadership and Team Management:* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers and engineers.* Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and development opportunities.

Project Management:* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of client-funded projects.* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.* Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.* Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

Client Engagement:* Serve as the primary point of contact for internal client management team and clients on project-related matters.* Build and maintain strong client relationships.* Ensure client satisfaction and manage client expectations.

Strategic Planning:* Contribute to the development of project management strategies and methodologies.* Align project management practices with organisational goals and objectives.* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Resource Management:* Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success.* Manage project budgets and financials.* Coordinate with other departments to ensure resource availability and allocation.

Reporting and Documentation:* Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.* Maintain comprehensive project documentation.* Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field.* Experiencing managing technology deployments, often from client sites* PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Must have:
