I am seeking a proactive IT Applications Support Engineer to join our client's dynamic IT team. In this role, you will provide technical support, administration, and optimisation for Microsoft 365 applications and enterprise business solutions. You will work closely with internal teams to enhance productivity, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices across collaboration and business platforms.
This position offers a balanced workload, with an integration of BAU (Business-As-Usual) application support and a focus on IT projects and application enhancements. You will also gain access to training, industry certifications, and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support and administration for Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Assist with user management, security settings, access controls, and license administration in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Work on business application projects, including new deployments, integrations, and enhancements.
Support automation initiatives using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Teams integrations to improve business processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize workflows, resolve inefficiencies, and enhance user adoption of IT applications.
Assist in data management, compliance, and security best practices within Microsoft 365 and other enterprise applications.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on application best practices and new features.
Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
About You:
Experience in an IT applications support or Microsoft 365 support role.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), security groups, conditional access, and MFA administration.Knowledge
of Intune (Endpoint Manager) for application and device management is a plus.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot application-related IT issues efficiently.
Basic understanding of PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administration.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
