Recoveries Officer

Our Manchester based client is looking for a Recoveries Officer to join their team in on permanent basis. In this role you will recover contractor overpayments, handle relevant queries via telephone and tickets to provide additional information and agree payment plans. Reconcile payments received and monitor all adjustment forms raised providing reports to each department and provide additional support with internal queries from wider teams across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Re-calculate overpayments, LTD, UMB, PAYE
  • Recover overpayments using various method’s
  • Update payments received using various systems
  • Answers support messages via telephone
  • To process overpayment letters
  • Answers support messages via ticketing system

Key Skills needed:

  • Good communication skills – via telephone and email
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Ability to work in fast-paced
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Maths and English GCSE Equivalent of C or higher
  • Customer service support experience
  • Payroll experience
